- Postcard mailer – discussed using a mailing house with every door direct mail service to increase reach.
- Notice on SWNA Facebook page
- Notice in the Summit West Living Publication
- Solicit raffle donations from local businesses
- NA’s will receive $2.29/tax lot this year; there are 2,852 lots in the SWNA, so we will receive $6,534 annually, which must be spent during this fiscal year. In addition, rollover grant funds may be available.
- Discussed emergency evacuation routes and signage. The county is working on revising evacuation routes.
- Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) is available through COCC and Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.
- The City of Bend has finalized its list of prioritized projects for the Transportation System Plan (TSP). Discussed the importance of addressing the chronic complaints.
- City Council voted to change the roads eligible for consideration under the NSSP to include arterials and collectors in residential areas; also, there’s a proposal to increase the budget from $800,000 to $1.2 million. The NSSP could potentially receive funding every two years.
