Motions Passed:

1. That the planned city council candidate forum on Oct. 4, 2020 be designated as the 2020 general membership meeting of the Summit West Neighborhood Association.
2. That the board allocate up to $250 to cover a share of the cost of conducting a city council candidate forum on Oct. 4, 2020.
3. That the board allocate up to $2,000 to cover the design, printing, and mailing of a direct mail postcard promoting the 2020 candidate forum and membership in SWNA.
4. That director Richard Brodsky be nominated to be SWNA’s representative to the Neighborhood Leadership Alliance.  (Subject to appointment by the Mayor or City Council.)
5. That the board submit an amendment to the membership for approval to allow both regular and special meetings of the board of directors by teleconference, video conference, or e-mail.
6. That the board submit an amendment to the membership for approval to allow electronic balloting for elections to the board of directors, amendments to the bylaws, and any other measures that might be put to a vote at a meeting of the membership.
7. That the board submit an amendment to the membership for approval to allow proxies to be collected from the members for purposes of constituting a quorum for a meeting of the membership and for voting on items submitted to the members for approval.
