The City Council approved moving forward to rezone relevant residential, commercial and industrial land within the city limits in January. The land in question is spread throughout the city and the intent is to align the land with Bend’s comprehensive plan, which controls land use activities within the city.
The SWNA board has contacted city staff to determine what areas in Summit West may be affected by the city’s rezoning plans. Once we receive information, we will provide updates through posts on the SWNA website.
On May 14, 2018, city staff will present a modified public involvement plan with the planning commission about the rezoning project. More information may be found in this May 5, 2018, Bend Bulletin article and by contacting the city (541/388.5580).
